Beware of Fake Emails Impersonating Our Law Firm!
Dear Clients,
We appreciate your vigilance in reporting suspicious emails that appear to be from our firm. We would like to make it clear that we are not the sender of these messages – they are fraudulent attempts or cyber-attacks aimed at compromising your IT systems.
The bogus emails reported to us falsely claim copyright infringement and demand urgent action. The sender’s email address does not belong to our firm, and the content of the message may contain inconsistencies that indicate it is a scam.
Other signs of a scam email:
- Unofficial email address – the message comes from an unknown domain unrelated to @dudkowiak.com.
- Lack of personalisation – generic salutations such as „Dear Sir/Madam” without a specific name.
- Time pressure – the sender is threatening legal action if you do not respond immediately.
- Poor grammar and spelling – the message may contain typos or awkward phrasing.
- Attachments or links to unknown websites – these may lead to infected files or phishing websites.
What should you do if you receive such an email?
- Do not reply or engage in any correspondence.
- Do not click on any links or open any attachments.
- Report the suspicious email as phishing to your email provider.
- If in doubt, contact our firm directly using the official contact details available on our website.
Thank you for your vigilance in reporting such incidents. Together, we can effectively combat fraud and protect your privacy.
Yours sincerely,
Dudkowiak & Putyra team
