More and more MIPs. October was record-breaking in this respect

In October 2020, as many as 19 new MIPs were entered into the register. Until then, the top result was achieved in July 2019, when licenses were granted to 7 new entities. So the difference is almost threefold. The upward trend may be due to a number of factors, such as a pandemic, which has an impact on the supply of new financial products, as well as the remote operation of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, which could have contributed to the accumulation of licensing decisions in a short time. For comparison, we can currently find 39 entries in the register of national payment institutions.
