National payment institutions (KIPs) can pay the PFSA (KNF) supervision costs later.

According to the regulation, national payment institutions have to pay the fee until 30 November 2020.

We would like to remind you that from the entry into force of the regulation of 10 August 2018, national payment institutions no longer make advances to cover the costs of supervision for the next six months of the year in which they operate. Instead of advances, KIPs, within 30 days from the date of publication of the PFSA Chairman’s announcement on the fee in the Official Journal of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, shall pay the fee to cover the supervision costs, stating the payment title.

Within 5 days from the date of payment, KIP is obliged to submit an annual declaration (its information content is specified in the annex to the regulation), in which it shows the amount of the payment to cover the supervision costs due for a given calendar year.
