Central register of excise entities
On 30 June 2021 the time expired for registration in the Central Register of Excise Entities. The system overload was so extreme that at the PUESC website (Platforma Usług Elektronicznych Skarbowo-Celnych/ Electronic Services Portal of the Customs Service) an announcement popped up stating that the registration procedure commenced by the date of 30 June 2021 will be regarded as the observance of the specified deadline.
Pursuant to the regulations, entities which failed to be registered in CRPA (Central Register of Excise Entities) by the date of 30 June 2021 will not be allowed to run its activity within the scope of excise goods. Unfortunately, the registration process consists of several stages and requires the following: setting up a PUESC account, registration of representation, in order to have the possibility to update the data of entity and registration in CRPA. In connection with a great number of applicants an announcement was given which informed that it was sufficient to submit an application within the scope of one of the stages mentioned above by the date of 30 June 2021 to be regarded as an entity which had observed the deadline. However, there is one condition: the process of entity registration in CRPA should be completed by 31 August 2021 at the latest. As the completion of the registration is considered the entry of an entity in CRPA, which can be checked by means of the PUESC portal.
