Extension of reporting periods

The Ministry of Finance aims at meeting demands made by entrepreneurs and accountants as regards the extension of the reporting period for the year 2020. Taking into consideration the difficult and dynamical situation connected with COVID-19, they have taken a decision concerning the extension of the period for drawing up financial reports by:

• 3 months for entities of the private sector and non-profit organizations;
• 1 month for entities of the financial sector.

The regulation referring to these issues is currently at the final stage of the legislation process.
