New increased limit of contactless payments

National Bank of Poland granted VISA with consent to increase the maximum value of contactless card payments in Poland. The new limit is 100 PLN (instead of currently applicable 50 PLN). The same limit increase was recently granted to second biggest market player MasterCard.

The date of introducing the new limit in practice is not yet know.
