Methodology for evaluation of members of bodies in supervised entities – KNF introduced electronic forms
On April 26th, 2021, KNF made available on its website an online interactive form which can be used for suitability assessment of members of corporate bodies in entities supervised by KNF – according to the Methodology for evaluation of members of bodies in entities supervised by KNF (as updated on February 3rd, 2021). The form is designed to evaluate candidates for managing positions in banks, however, it can be successfully used for other types of entities.
The form consists of two parts:
- an online form which can be filled by candidates using the link https://odpowiedniosc.knf.gov.pl/, whereas upon submitting the form will be saved as a PDF file, e-signed, and forwarded to the bank,
- online form to be filled by the bank (within the KNF Portal), whereas after finalizing the form it will be made available to KNF.
This new online measure should simplify and accelerate the process of appointing new management board members in Polish banks. At the same time, it can be used by other market participants as a practical benchmark tool for preliminary checking their candidates.
