The campaign was launched: “ATTENTION! CYBER FRAUDSTER!”
The PFSA reminds that the PFSA and PFSA Office never participate in or act as an intermediary in the execution of financial transactions between a client and a financial institution; neither does authorize anyone (companies, persons, etc.) to represent the PFSA or the PFSA Office, nor does it verify the costs of products, services or customer service quality research; does not charge any fees for loans made by private entities; is not engaged in the enforcement of costs, taxes, fees for certificates and other fraudulent activities. This type of behavior of bidders should make the addressees alert.
The PFSA also provides advice on the website https://www.knf.gov.pl/dla_konsumenta/kampanie_spoleczne/uwaga_cyberoszust/porady, i.a. not to install software or applications from an unknown source, not to follow time pressure advice, to analyze documents, inquire about the product on the Internet, not to share confidential data, not to enter one’s banking system login details and to remain vigilant.
