Energy Law of Ukraine. Selection of sources – a new publication prepared with the participation of a member of our Law Firm

We are pleased to announce that this year’s publication in the Adam Mickiewicz University Publishing House under the title „Energetic Law of Ukraine. Selection of sources „edited by prof. UAM dr hab. Eryk Kosinski was appeared. A lawyer of our Law Firm, Denis Ushakov, participated in the preparation of the book.

The publication contains Ukrainian texts along with translations into Polish and English of three basic Ukrainian legal acts regulating the energy sector:

• Acts of Ukraine No. 2019-VIII of April 13, 2017 on the electricity market,

• Acts of Ukraine No. 329-VIII of April 9, 2015 on the natural gas market,

• Acts of Ukraine No. 1540-VIII of September 22, 2016 on the National Commission for State Regulation in the field of Energy and Utilities, as well as

• selection of the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, defining the „economic constitution” of Ukraine, i.e. provisions of the Constitution that refer to the economic system of the country.

Denis Ushakov, among other work, prepared a translation of the texts of all the above-mentioned acts from Ukrainian into Polish. The book is the first of two publications planned as part of the research project of the National Science Center, entitled „Regulation of the energy sector in the European Union and Ukraine. Comparison of objectives and legal measures of regulation of the energy sector.„
