Government plans to introduce mandatory social security contributions to all mandate agreements in the first quarter of 2023
The official announcement of the government regarding the inclusion of all mandate contracts into the obligatory ZUS contributions has appeared. The change has been included in the latest version of the National Reform Program for 2022/2023.
The government explains the planned change by the need to increase social protection for all people working under civil law contracts and increase their future pensions, as well as the need to put the social insurance system in order.
Unfortunately for companies, this will mean an increase in the burden of employment under a mandate contract, which may result in a search for alternative forms of employment.
