Dudkowiak & Putyra at the New Mobility Congress in Katowice

The firm was represented by Maria Łupicka and Aleksander Tarko, who met with companies and industry representatives to discuss the regulatory challenges accompanying the rapid transformation of the mobility and automotive sectors.
European battery industry under pressure
An important part of Dudkowiak & Putyra’s participation was Maria Łupicka’s presentation:
“Europe under pressure: Can the European Battery Industry Withstand Competition from China?”
The presentation focused on the competitive position of the European battery industry and the growing impact of EU regulatory requirements on manufacturers and other businesses operating across the battery value chain.
Maria discussed in particular the challenge of reconciling increasingly extensive European compliance requirements — including the Digital Battery Passport — with the scale, production capacity and cost advantages of Chinese supply chains.
The session addressed the broader question facing European businesses: how to remain competitive while adapting to an increasingly complex regulatory environment governing batteries, sustainability and the automotive sector.

Legal perspective on the transformation of mobility
The New Mobility Congress brought together representatives of the automotive, transport, technology, energy and infrastructure sectors, providing a platform to discuss the regulatory and business changes shaping the future of mobility in Poland and across Europe.
For Dudkowiak & Putyra, the event was also an opportunity to exchange views with companies operating in and entering the Polish market on issues arising from the transition towards electromobility, sustainable transport and new automotive technologies.
New Mobility Gala at NOSPR
The Dudkowiak & Putyra team also attended the New Mobility Gala at NOSPR in Katowice, marking ten years of development of the new mobility ecosystem in Poland.
We would like to thank PSNM – Polish New Mobility Association for organising the Congress and everyone who attended Maria Łupicka’s session or met with our team during the event.
